This place really does have an awesome menu! Everything I have gotten from either the forest city or Rutherfordton restaurants has been so very good. I particularly liked the potatoes salad it has bacon! Lol can't ever go wrong with bacon in my opinion..

On a rainy Saturday midday, we were seated promptly, asked for the server's suggestions and not long of a wait later, we were NOT disappointed. Rib eye panini and the Southwest chicken salad with Cajun ranch dressing were both scrumptious. Very nice serving size for the salad. The rib eye was wonderful and proportionate to the side dish. Will go again when we are in the area.

It was our first time in the copper penny. We are visiting our friend from Miami that moved up here in North Carolina in Rutherfordton. The food was simply awesome. All three of us got something different and the dessert was awesome. Very good food and very friendly waitresses. If I lived up here I would go often.

Copper Penny in Rutherfordton is awesome. Waitstaff was excellent and food was delicious. Drink glasses were kept full. Waitress was attentive with out being a pest. Loved everything about the place.
