Had a much needed date night with my wife, we had the pleasure of recieving incredible service from the bartender Aubry, she was friendly, engaging with both my wife and I. All of the staff were working together to run food, clear dishes and ensure guests were having and enjoyable experience. The food was prepared and served fresh and tasty. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The ambiance, magical holiday music and atmosphere was welcoming and uplifting. The old fashion maple cocktail wss the perfect compliment to our meal. The price point for dinner and drinks was way more affordeable than other business in the area. Great job Copper Penny please dont ever lose the spirit here..happy holidays to you all. Please share this review with your team and let them know their efforts are making in a difference in the lives of their guests. And do something special for Aubry because its team members like her that keep guests coming back.

I came in town for a Spartan race and after the race sat stopped in for a late lunch. The food was amazing but the bartender who served me was probably the best service I have ever had. I will definitely come back when I am in town again.

My wife found this treasure while we were staying in the area on a family trip. To start the building and it's interior design was so uniquely different from what I've seen. I instantly loved it. Our server was so nice and helpful navigating their amazing choices on the menu. Ultimately we decided on the foothill fritters for an app and my wife enjoyed her adult grilled cheese and I the glaze salmon. We were so impressed with our lunches we order to go and took it back to our cabin for dinner. We again ordered the fritters and both enjoyed a different burger off the menu. 10 out of 10 for us here. Great atmosphere, friendly and consistent service and the food was AMAZING.

I went for the first time this afternoon and asked for them to make me a drink I have been wanting for months, it was AMAZING and they ended up making it a special for the night! I was so excited. My wife and I both really enjoyed our dinner here on our way to Marion. We got.to sit outside with our dog too. To start we got an order of mozzarella sticks...they werent anything special but still good. My wife ordered the cedar plank salmon with baked potato and side Caesar salad and said everything was delicious. I had the ribeye with loaded potato and side house salad and really like everything.

I wish I could give the Copper Penny Grill in Rutherfordton 10 stars as that is what they deserve. We were there over the weekend and had a fabulous experience. The service was excellent and so was the food. We sat outside on the patio as we had 2 dogs with us and we lucked out with beautiful weather. The server brought water and milk bones first - ha! We were a large group and ordered a variety of entrees from the bourbon burger to the regular burger to the French dip to the rib eye and everything was made as ordered. We look forward to returning when we visit the area again.
