I've been eating at the Copper Penny for several years now. I've never had a bad experience. Yesterday was no exception. My lunch date was my dog and we sat outside on the patio. They brought me a water bowl for him and a little treat. I ordered the Monterey Chicken with a side salad. Salad came out and as always it was very good. I waited for a long time for my entree and when my bill came I thought 🤔 but I hadn't gotten my main meal. Shortly after my waiter came out and asked how everything was? I asked about how long it would be before my food came out? He wasn't aware I hadn't gotten it. He went and checked with the kitchen came back out and explained that there was a mistake and my food had been given to someone else but they were working on getting me my food and the manager was going to come out and talk to me which she did. Very professional staff and service. She came out apologized and told me my meal was on the house today for having to wait as long as I did. I can't say enough about how well they do things at Copper Penny. I've not had one complaint of all the years I've been eating here. I've worked in the food service industry and this is how things are done if you want to continue to thrive. Thank you to the waiter, bartender and manager that took care of me and my dog yesterday. You all are top notch in my book.
